Black Dragon is MY Viewer, i decide which feature i want to add and which to remove, i share this Viewer to show the world that user base size is not important, i do rate quality by effort, thought and love put into the project, not some rough estimated numbers. I consider feature requests only if i you can name proper valid reasons i can agree on. It is my (unpaid) time i'm putting into this project, i'm not here to cater to every Joe's desires.

  1. Niran I really love your viewer, the only issue is that I am technically incompetent. I can't seem to get it to install properly meaning I can use it, but it won't show up in my list of programs or in my app data (only the most recent download). I am not sure if it the translation issue, though I had much success with google translator, but the previous release behaved like every other viewer. Maybe I haven't deleted all of the folders, but when I search Niran I get nada. Anyway I dont mean to be a pain in the butt, I just like taking pretty pictures. I appreciate all the work you have done. If you have any insights I would be greatful.

  2. all my builds dont have an installer , they are all normal WinRar executables , meaning it doesnt create any registrys or shortcuts on your desktop or your Windows Menu , you have to do that manually , or start the Viewer directly from its installed folder, you´ve done nothing wrong

  3. Niran, this is awesome work! I love how smooth everything runs and how fast the rez time is. I'm running everything with graphic settings maxed out and it's not the least bit choppy. Thank you for creating this :} Hope it gets better and better.

  4. okay las question i swear, though i am googling winrar, how do you know if you removed all the files. I am assuming you have to manually delete them, from whatever file they are stored in

  5. @Chloe: If you just double click on the downloaded file it will unpack everything to the proper place. If you have an older install already just click on the "Alles" button when prompted - that will overwrite the old files.

@Niran: This is fabulous! I played with your earlier versions when I was using Kirstens, but you have gone beyond in performance and quality for my machinima work!!! Danke!!

  6. deleting is pretty simple assuming that you havnt installed it somewhere in africa and forgot where you installed it there , just right click the folder and click delete , or hold shift while clicking delete (will instantly delete it instead of moving it into trash) , the only thing left on your PC are your settings and your cache which you have to remove manually aswell you can find your settings here:
    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Nirans Viewer
    and your cache here:
    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Nirans Viewer

im forced to use the WinRar program because 7zip is good but not even 99% functional , i had a lot people who didnt know to extract it or having lots of problems with missing files etc etc

the process to create such a WinRar executable is pretty easy and theoretically i cannot miss anything , im taking all the compiled files from which i start my Viewer aswell , mark them all right click and select Create a WinRar , so it packs together all files i also have , so even if i havnt "updated" my Source yet you will definetly have the most recent stuff as it is directly taken from what i use aswell , that might also be a reason why it runs suprisingly good for so many people

  8. Nice Niran, good to see the work on Kirtsen's viewer being taken forward too. I hope to try this when I am back to my normal computer after the vacation.

I liked the 3D mode that was just appearning for some demos in Kirsten's viewer... is this mode of use still invorprated in your viewer Niran?

  9. @aiaustin , this is not Kirstens , this is Shining Fixes Linden Viewer... and no this feature is not present in my Viewer it was for non deferred anyway which made it pretty useless
