Black Dragon is MY Viewer, i decide which feature i want to add and which to remove, i share this Viewer to show the world that user base size is not important, i do rate quality by effort, thought and love put into the project, not some rough estimated numbers. I consider feature requests only if i you can name proper valid reasons i can agree on. It is my (unpaid) time i'm putting into this project, i'm not here to cater to every Joe's desires.

seems like i will go into detail on 1.30...

anyway quick info: TP crash has been fixed and a lot of translation work and some UI overhauls has been done also a new Texture Compression beta feature aswell as the spell checker (not yet functional) has been implemented for now you will find the Texture Compression ONLY in debug , im still testing around with it
the Debug setting is called RenderCompressTextures and needs a restart!

  3. Could you comment a bit in that texture compression? Is that on server side so the textures are downloaded faster or is something local?

  4. the texture compression is an experimental feature added by Runatai to compress all incoming images/textures to save RAM and therefor make my viewer survive a bit longer before giving up but it will need additional power and a OpenGL 3.0 Video card minimum, textures seemed to be compressed instantly on arrival making the viewer stutter a bit on texture heavy SIMs

  5. its on the left side now and a smaller button, because there were an UI update a few releases ago and i dint notice the extreme fuckup in the world map i did that in this release and to circumvent the sliding problems of the new layout panels i had to move it to the left in order to make it slide nicely again
