Black Dragon is MY Viewer, i decide which feature i want to add and which to remove, i share this Viewer to show the world that user base size is not important, i do rate quality by effort, thought and love put into the project, not some rough estimated numbers. I consider feature requests only if i you can name proper valid reasons i can agree on. It is my (unpaid) time i'm putting into this project, i'm not here to cater to every Joe's desires.

Black Dragon Viewer 64x - Update 5.0.3 Beta "Probing Dragon"
i deleted 5.0.2 version thought thats how u did it cause last time i uninstalled the old update from may and downloaded 5.0.2 version easily and i tried to redownload the 1st new update, but its said its trashed and gone. i give up at this point cause ion know why the new updates gotta be so difficult now :/
so when i try to repair the second one Microsoft Visual C ++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) it has a red x that says no action was taken as a system reboot is required. i do that and redownload it and exit off that part and it loads, then it crashes. so either way it's a loss of popping up.
I suppose, i will have a look into if i can somehow limit it (or make an option to throttle it) or make it multithreaded so it doesn't murder your framerate completely for extended periods but i can't promise anything, i never touched the inventory system and i'm really not looking forward to.
having an odd issue i wanted to report where textures on various objects seem to 'corrupt' or look 'deep fried', especially if viewed at a distance. they flicker between different stages of rendering (fried vs normal) at different distances or when the camera moves. did not happen on previous versions of BD. clean install was done, caches all been cleared multiple times. graphics card and computer are in good health, drivers up to date, and i have no issues whatsoever in other games.
Shadows are broken? How so? They are just ugly as they always have been in any other Viewer. BD is literally the only Viewer to ever touch how shadows looked and with PBR currently being a mess still i can't work on bringing any of that back.
please put custom aos that we can make ourselves like firestorm please thats what we really need

ReplyDeleteI think that was an issue with broken windlights. Edit the sky, first tab, far right options, make sure they aren't set to 0.
