i made a new default preset which i think looks much better in many cases , and if not , you know how to edit it heres the preset in action
Lindens default Water Preset and Normal Map Nirans Viewer Water Preset and Normal Map
Not sure if I have the latest 8 because there is two new posts, but downloaded the "red pill" and updated to the latest NVIDIA driver 285.62 just to see what happened and it logged in first time.
ReplyDeleteBeen running it for 8 hours so far no crashes what-so-ever and even in laggy sims I'm getting good FPS etc etc

So, not sure if this is LL, Niran or something I've messed up, but it's not trying to use OpenGL 4.2 hence the crash didn't appear. I will check this out
the Viewer uses 4.0 as compatibility , theres an debug option (in graphics aswell) that disables this compatibility profile and enables full use of newer OpenGL but will most likely still cause crash , you can activate it with RenderGLCoreProfile Debug Setting
ReplyDeleteDoes the red pîll contain that preset ?
ReplyDeletehaha i like it how people follow this joke^^ , nah weither the red nor the blue one contain it , the new and BETTER (especially BIGGER) red pill will contain it xD (the next build)
