The update will soon be available, so keep an eye out and keep the feedback coming.
If you wonder what i call proper feedback -> EchtVirtuell or Modemworld , posting it on your unknown blog somewhere in the internet doesn't help you and especially not me. If you got anything to say, do so either in my SLU post, Forum or here on my Blog or at least link me your Blog when you write something there or IM me inworld -> NiranV Dean.
All pop-ups, everything, are off the right side of my screen, almost to the point that I can't get hold of them. And moving my inventory to the left edge took like forever.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a case of 'did not reset your settings'.
DeleteOther than that, i cannot reproduce any of these 'popup' issues, i don't even know which 'popups' you are talking about, there are literally a 100 different ones.
Some floaters snapping back to the right side seems to be a feature LL added somewhere in their releases i merged, still looking for that commit so i can look what went wrong (if anything).
the best way to explain is, in the area you have your minimap in http://niranv-sl.blogspot.com/2014/10/black-dragon-update-2401-feedback-update.html#comment-form is where I keep my conversation window and where I expect notecards and pictures to open. In this release, those things happen on the extreme far right, just barely visible. In the case of the conversation window, it can be dragged 9/10 of the way there, then it snaps back to where it started
ReplyDeleteThat is a description i can work with. The windows snapping back issue is fixed and will be gone in the next update. I suspect any issues regarding floaters opening to the far right outside of the screen will vanish aswell with that update.
DeleteI asked jessica about removing the chat bar like the new official viewer does it, having local chat go directly into the floating chat window, and she didn't even know about it. You've got it. I soooooo badly want to switch to your viewer but firestorm has added essentials to SL that are too good to leave. Do you plan on getting all or most of firestorm's preferences? An example would be their improvements to building, with an example of that being now you can set the inside of the floating measuring tape grid that comes up when you start moving a prim, to snap while INSIDE of it as opposed to having to move your mouse along or past the floating numbers. I doubt you need me to list everything, there's a reason firestorm is #1 but at the same time they're only #1 because you just need the extra features they got then your viewer's better (and talking to someone about something they should 100% know about and they 0% know about it? ughhhh...).
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER! If you don't plan on adding that stuff I need to know so I can stop downloading your viewer and hope another one comes along one day that basically smashes yours and firestorms viewers together. I bought your AO by the way do you know any good female not pretty princess generic second life like a normal human being or drunk/high but relaxed and not second lifey animations I've been playing this game since 2005 and I hate it
The chatbar floater is one of the most aggravating in Linden's chat interface. I really dislike it but have no choice other than accepting it until i decide to take another stab at adding a fixed panel one i much prefer over the annoying free floating one.
DeleteI do not plan on adding 'all' and not even 'most' of Firestorms features. Second Life is the only place in the world where i absolutely hate having many features. I try circling around Firestorm as much as possible, i do not want their features and they luckily don't want mine either. The second i see a Viewer that combines both my Viewer and Firestorm is the day i will stop working on it. I don't see a reason continueing this Viewer when there is another Viewer doing everything my Viewer and Firestorm does combined.
About your animation thingy, you should try Kuso if you haven't yet. You have to search a bit there, but they are overall pretty 'normal' and mostly kept realistic.
also, the right click radial menu's buttons are wayyyyy toooo far away I have to move my mouse about an inch and a half to reach them 1920x1080 if that matters and windowed mode titan windows 10
ReplyDeleteYou should think about learning to use an increased mouse speed. Moving my mouse 3,75cm (1,5 inch) makes my cursor go beyond the pie menu, infact those 1,5 inch make my cursor go over half of my screen. I'm using 1920x1080 aswell.
