Disclaimer

Black Dragon is MY Viewer, i decide which feature i want to add and which to remove, i share this Viewer to show the world that user base size is not important, i do rate quality by effort, thought and love put into the project, not some rough estimated numbers. I consider feature requests only if i you can name proper valid reasons i can agree on. It is my (unpaid) time i'm putting into this project, i'm not here to cater to every Joe's desires.

Beta 3

just a little bugfix release , and WIP changes you wont see as normal user, the fixes include correct glow settings again (i found the bug i accidentally set max alpha glow to 0.36 instead of 0.036 which made glow EXTREME) , fixed Project S19 default settings , meaning that all bottom buttons should be hidden now and project S19 should be active as default , aswell as some other little options....and the last fix is a desyncronisation between your clicks and the actual click-hit position which was caused by forcing the chatbar to be BEHIND the Voice controls as default....i forgot that moving the Chatbar as default will cause the whole "screen" to move making you click on yourself and hitting the ground a few pixels away instead of yourself this build is mainly good for people that noticed those above bugs and for new people that will be shocked at start with the glow settings (not on my watch! not anymore)

New Video :)

Check out my new Video! im planning to add it as Experimental animated background for login like i wanted before but this time it autoresizes so the problem that stopped me from doing it is gone :)

Build 6 Release

ok Ladies n Gentlement , Build 6 is out now! =D
i reworked plenty of Settings and a bit of my UI , removed some unnecessenary options and sliders from Build 5 , added some new like a whole new additional glow strenght slider.
Project S19 has been redone , 1080p is now gone as it isnt needed anymore , the buttons will now autoresize automatically to the middle of your screen (mostly) and because of this i made it default , my whole new UI is now completly default , too see all my new default settings including the graphic tweaks i did , you´ll have to delete/rename your settings , the viewer should now also use a seperate cache folder :) , it features Local Bitmaps 2.0 (which is still beta but works great) , a new object weights floater with all needed information in one little window and all my Mod Skins i made for Kirstens , they are beta but because im now working on my own Viewer i will have to update these over time as they are now inofficially officially supported hehe...
build 6 final comes with some additional bugfixes up to 3.0.6 , you can look them up at the end of this Post

Unknown Future

my Viewer is currently at Build 5 which is unstable like hell as soon as you try to do Snapshots , thanks to the fucking Memory Project... the problem is i cannot go around it i have to take it with me as future updates will most likely build on them , on the other side if it will be stable in future , its better than without , for now its just a broken piece of shit of a project making the Viewer reload all textures permanently .... i hope LL will get that under control , in the meantime i will probably slowly continue to merge Socks 5 Proxy and release Build 6 , maybe i will start with Build 4 again or Build 3....Build 1 is possible also , and redo all good stuff and let projects like the Memory one out ... stay tuned , contact me inworld maybe that will encourage me a bit, atm im not even in mood to continue my UI...

S22, Youtube , Mod V5, Viewer 3 n stuff

Ok ok , in the past few weeks there were many things that happened , Viewer 3 was released in Dev and later as Beta (whooooh) so im expecting that Kirstens will follow Viewer 3 and update soon and i´ll follow Kirsten and update my Mod to Version 5.0 which will bring a lot of bigger changes that can actually be seen , heres a preview of the new IM Windows i´ve done
Profile pic and drag place can be slit out by pressing the looooooongbutton between History and Pic
As you may notice the Menu now says S22 , i renamed it because its planned for S22
then there are a few new buttons for the Inventory i added , from left to right:
close all folders (folder icon), copy (2 folders) and paste (folder with arrow)
i´ve also tried a open all folders but that sadly doesnt work ,so i concentrated on other things like tweaking the Online Notification Profile pic size which now fills the whole Notifiaction, Chat history is now halftransparent , aswell as the Chat headers , making everything look better ... Texture Previews are automatically big now instead of tiny , you can type into cloud texture selector to allow own textures without editing the XML files , Debug Settings is now minimisable, right click pie menu has reset script now as option, options to enable the Direct Delivery UI in Inventory and some other little tweaks for my skin. I´ve also updated Citrin a bit with some new textures and made everything compatible for Viewer 3 Dev.
And dont let us forget another big change , the windlight floaters , they became quiet a mess , they are huuuuuuuge even for my screen , they use up so much space and then those windows are simply empty... so i filled them with stuff , tried to organize them exactly as the original ones where (also the buttons) and shrinked them extremly , see the results here:
so thats about my mod and Kirstens and Viewer 3 , now to my newly uploaded Video which was easily doable because of those finally (again) usable Windlight floaters and some nice DoF tweaks with my Graphic Settings Panel :) , its recorded in HD so dont miss that i converted it to a format Youtube doesnt fuck up like my Previous Videos

This and much more to come , and oh , please dont forget im doing this for you guys , im using my free time to give you something unique and special no other Viewer has , im also trying to make everything as bearable as possible especially those changes we dont want... i just want to help you , and please stop freaking out because i dont do stuff like Friendlist in IM or Combined Local and IM Chat , i wont , its not optional, it would be forced to everyone , and thats an absolute no go i want to make everything as optional as possible ->
NiranV Mod Rule#1 - Optionality
#2 - Invidualisability
#3 - User friendly
#4 - Community driven (yes i actually do stuff you want....many things)

enjoy and stay tuned for V5 and Viewer 3 Kirstens :)
