AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-AAAAAAAAAHPDATE!
You probably wonder why i'm yelling?
Yes. Yes that's what you think it is. Yes it's in this very update. No you can't. Yes it would be possible. No but will be in future updates. In that order.
In case you haven't noticed, i just made the first real full inworld Poser. Fuck all those HUD's. This thing will make you shit bricks, at least the avatar part of it, you still have to put a lot of bricks into your ass... why would you do that?
Do i have to say more? Jeeperscreepers it's a fucking POSER, what do you want!? You can rotate all main bones wherever you want, yes you can even put your Avatar upside down if you so desire (although i have to make the pelvis rotations work a bit better... they... bug out sometimes) or your feet into your face, hell you can scratch your nose with them... yes.... yes... you can also put your feet up your ass.
You want to know how it works? That's easy! Dragon - World - Animation Controls. Pose tab, slide all the sliders. (In case the video wasn't obvious enough)
Also yes, above picture was made with said feature. Here have some more:
Now only if you can do something about the crosshairs so your eyes don't follow it while taking snapshots, then it'll be the perfect viewer for snapshots
ReplyDeletePreferences - Camera - Avatar Tracking Options. Set both to 0. It should with a very very few exceptions always prevent your body as well as your head and eyes from following your mouse movement. This does not include zooming on something but you can easily circumvent that by zooming onto yourself and moving the camera with Ctrl + Shift around.
DeleteThere's also always this:

Yeah that doesn't help at all. eyes don't act like how it should, well comparing it to other viewers like firestorm. it still follows crosshair which is seriously annoying
DeleteYou're doing something wrong then.
DeleteZooming onto yourself will focus your camera's lookat on yourself which will fix your eyes into a generic "looking forward" position. They will only do the normal random eye movement they are suppose to do when nothing else is happening. That is unless you touch something inworld or on your HUD, both will reactivate your Avatar's mouse tracking. This means that if you shouldn't be clicking HUDs or inworld stuff if you want to make a snapshot and you also shouldn't be trying to make a snapshot while you're still editing stuff inworld or with your HUD. Zooming onto yourself is for when you're done and ready to make a snapshot. I wouldn't be saying this if i didn't test this myself.
The other way of disabling the lookat completely via editing the attentions XML file will completely eliminate any tracking capability if you do set the right ones to 0.
If you can't get either to work, you can contact me inworld, i can give you an animation that will fix your eyes.
I'm experiencing an issue where avatars above my draw weight cap are not always being rendered as jelly dolls, instead being fully rendered.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought this was a contact list exception, as I first noticed it with two friends who should have been derendered with my settings, but then I saw it with some people not in my contact list.
This isn't consistent, either, as some people are being properly derendered.
Have you checked the new derender exception list in preferences? Changing someone's render settings will now permanently save, regardless of if they change their avatars or if you relog. You might have changed their render settings. Being in your contacts/friendlist does not create an exception for the friend/contact in question. Would be really strange if it just suddenly started with this update, when nothing in this update touched remotely anything jelly-doll.
DeleteA viewer poser? Now that's awesome. Keep on trucking.
